Our approach
Why Skills Matters
We live in a time of rapid transformation. Information is instant. Innovation is constant. The world students are entering is profoundly different from the one many of us were prepared for. Yet school, for the most part, has remained unchanged.
Our answer is no. And our response is a skills-based educational model grounded in something deeply human and overall, universal: the ability to learn, think, reason, and communicate.
We didn’t invent these principles. They’ve been talked about in educational theory for years. What makes EISB different is that we’ve committed to building an entire school culture around them. From how we plan lessons to how we assess learning, from classroom conversations to real-world projects—everything points toward developing these four essential skills.
