Dear American Academy Community,

Welcome to the American Academy program at EISB!

I hope this letter finds you well and excited for the upcoming school year. My name is Jacob Ingram and I am honored to introduce myself as the American Academy Deputy Director at the English International School of Bratislava (EISB). As we prepare to embark on a new academic journey, I want to extend a warm welcome to all our students and families.

In my role, I am entrusted with overseeing and managing various aspects of the American Academy program. This includes curriculum development, assessment coordination, administrative processes, and fostering effective communication. My primary goal is to ensure the seamless implementation and growth of the American Academy program while upholding our commitment to academic excellence within the broader framework of EISB. While students will be encouraged to communicate closely with their class teachers, I will act as a key point of contact for not only the students but for parents and guardians involved in the American Academy program.

Through collaborative efforts across various school departments, I and the other staff here will do our best to ensure that all students achieve the tools and knowledge necessary for success. Furthermore, we aim to provide unwavering student support, addressing both their academic and personal needs. Together the students and I will cooperate with the Guidance office in course selection, university admissions requirements, and exploring career pathways for future success. Lastly, part of our commitment as educators is overseeing events and extracurricular activities that enrich students’ learning experiences beyond the classroom setting. We look forward to working closely with you throughout this academic journey at the American Academy.

I am genuinely excited about the potential of the coming year and the growth it promises for our students.
