Developing Independent Learners
Targeted Learning
EISB Primary looks at student development over the long term. Each child develops differently and in their own time. We take an individualised approach developing all students to be Independent learners.
Skill Development
All learning at EISB focuses on Skill-Development. More than memorising information for tests, EISB students apply learning to a real world context and demonstrate that learning in tangible ways.
Because of this, EISB learning is

Interconnected
Learning is interconnected with other subjects and the outside world

Give Your Child a Strong Start in English with Our EAL Program!
The EAL (English as an Additional Language) program
for young learners focuses on helping children develop essential skills in speaking, reading, and understanding English. We build strong foundations in language, reading, and comprehension, giving learners the support they need to feel confident in English.
Through engaging activities and hands-on learning, students practice letters, expand their vocabulary, and begin reading simple sentences. Fun games and group exercises encourage children to sound out words, read short stories, and strengthen comprehension skills in a supportive environment. Each lesson motivates students to use English naturally, growing both their language abilities and their enthusiasm for learning.
It’s perfectly fine if your child doesn’t speak English yet—our EAL program is designed for learners at all levels. Whether they are just beginning or already know a few words, we help them build confidence step by step. With repetition, clear instructions, and supportive guidance, every child can progress at their own pace and take pride in their achievements in understanding and using English.

Primary Years Programme
Year 2 – Year 6
Learning through experience
EISB Primary is an innovative, transdisciplinary programme with the goal of developing independent learners who are internationally minded and who have the values of the PYP learner profile. Our transdisciplinary programme follows the framework of the Primary Year Programme (PYP) from the International Baccalaureate (IB).
We take core subjects necessary for student development and, rather than teach them separately and memorize facts, combine them into tangible transdisciplinary projects which provide opportunities to develop holistic skills that impact the world around them.
