:: ADMISSION POLICY ::
Thank you for your interest in our school. We understand how important it is to choose the right system of education for your child. EISB offers an excellent all round educational experience for people wishing to place their children in a private international school.
We intend to remain a small, single form entry school. In each grade there is one class with maximum 20 children what enables our teachers to have an individual approach.
Currently there is no set level of English knowledge stipulated for the students of EISB Primary School.
Our experienced teachers who are Native English speakers, give to the children language support in extra lessons if needed.
Students of Middle Years Programme need to have their level of English in speaking and understanding.
It is required that the students wishing to enter EISB during MYP years have command of English enabling them to access the curriculum and participate during the lessons.
Children are eligible to begin Nursery /Reception if they are 3 years old before September 1 of the particular academic year.
Children are eligible to begin Year 1 if they are 5 years old before September 1 of the particular academic year.
Children are eligible to begin Year 2 if they are 6 years old before September 1 of the particular academic year.
Students of other year levels are placed in grades that most suitably approach to their chronological age (taking into account their academic history).
EISB admits children with limited learning needs, problems or disabilities within the guideline listed in its admission policy.
It is stated in the policy, that students cannot spend more than 25 % of their time within the programme.
